Terms of Service

These terms are subject to change at any time, so please review ahead of purchasing from The Fuzz.

Price and timing estimates for commissions vary by design. Timing is subject to change and we will discuss any changes to the timeline with you if adjustments are needed.

Full payment is required up front and work will not start until payment is received. Payment plans are accepted on a case by case basis and the terms of the payment plan will be settled before work begins.

We commission to minors, but a parent or legal guardian is required to provide payment. We will require your parent’s or legal guardian’s full name, email, and phone number before accepting a commission to facilitate payment with them directly.

An accurate reference sheet is required in order for us to accept a commission. This is because we want to make sure we’re both on the same page with what you’re envisioning before we get started. If the design is to change after work has begun, we are happy to make updates for an additional fee. If an estimate for the changes cannot be agreed upon, we will finish the items to match the original design.

If we request your measurements, we will assume they are accurate and will build off of those specifications. If your measurements are to change or you find that they are not accurate after work as begun, we cannot guarantee that we can adjust your item to fit the new measurements. If the alterations are feasible, we will adjust your item for an additional fee. If the alterations are not feasible or an estimate for the alterations cannot be agreed upon, we will finish the items to fit the original measurements.

Shipping is paid for by the buyer and is due upon completion of the project. We will ship anywhere postage allows using either UPS or USPS. Delivery time varies by location. Internationally shipped items (outside of the US) may be subject to additional customs fees that are the responsibility of the buyer.

We are not liable for damage that happens during shipping. We securely pack all shipped items to the best of our ability – how the package is handled by the shipping company is outside of our control. We will accept repairs for items damaged during transit for an additional fee and will not reimburse for shipping costs.

Once your items are complete, we will contact you to organize shipping or delivery. If we do not hear from you after 3 attempts, we will hold your item for up to 6 months. After 6 months of no response, your items are considered forfeit to The Fuzz to reuse as we see fit. If the items are for a personal character, we will make reasonable alterations before resale. We will not process a return for or remake forfeited items.

We do not accept returns. Exchanges and repairs are handled on a case by case basis if the item is found to have a defect. The shipping related to an exchange or repair is the responsibility of the buyer. Please reach out to us via the contact page with any questions regarding your items. You may request a partial refund for a commission payment if work has not yet started. We withhold 20% of your deposit for quote and processing fees, and we will deduct any material costs that have been purchased as part of your commission.

The Fuzz reserves the right to cancel an order for any reason. In the event of a cancellation, the buyer will be refunded accordingly.
